Asphalt Crack Repair
For Driveways, Lots, & Ranch Roads
Cracks Cost You. We Seal 'Em!
Cracks Cost More Than You Think
Left alone, cracks invite water, shift the asphalt, and spiral into major repairs. Cold patch fades. We use hot rubber that bonds deep and stays sealed–stopping the damage before it spreads.

We Fix Asphalt Cracks the Right Way
We don’t just fill and go. We clean the cracks, heat the rubber, and fill with precision. The result: a tight, flexible seal that holds up to heat, rain, and traffic. Whether it’s your driveway or a commercial lot, we treat it like it matters.
We Built SealStag to Be Different
Most people hate dealing with construction trades because they don’t show up, don’t communicate, and leave a mess behind. We do the opposite. We show up on time, walk the job with you, do clean work, and follow through. No games. No guesswork. Just solid, honest service.
We Use Hot Rubber That
Actually Works
Some crews still use cold patch. The cheap, flaky stuff that breaks down fast. Not us. We use hot rubberized crack filler, melted and poured at high temps so it bonds deep and stays sealed. Here’s why it matters:
Durability & Flexibility: Hot rubber crack filler is a heated, highly viscous material that bonds exceptionally well with asphalt. This material is more flexible than traditional cold patch mixes, allowing it to withstand temperature fluctuations and prevent cracks from re-emerging.
Sealing Power: Hot rubber crack filler effectively seals the crack from top to bottom, preventing water infiltration and protecting the underlying asphalt base.
Superior Longevity: Compared to cold patch mixes, hot rubber crack filling offers a longer-lasting solution, minimizing the need for frequent repairs.

Why Crack Filling Actually Matters
Asphalt cracks may seem like minor cosmetic issues, but they can pose significant challenges if left unaddressed. Here’s why prompt crack filling is essential:
Prevents Water Infiltration: Cracks act as entry points for water to seep into the asphalt base. Water can freeze and expand during winter months, further widening the cracks and causing the surrounding asphalt to crumble.
Extends Pavement Life: Unattended cracks allow water infiltration and promote further deterioration of the asphalt. Crack filling prevents this process, significantly extending the lifespan of your pavement.
Reduces Repair Costs: Addressing small cracks through crack filling is a cost-effective solution compared to waiting for them to worsen and require patching or even resurfacing.
Maintains Structural Integrity: When left unattended, cracks can compromise the structural integrity of your asphalt surface, leading to potholes and a greater risk of collapse under heavy traffic loads.
Improved Safety: A smooth, crack-free asphalt surface provides better traction for vehicles and pedestrians, reducing the risk of accidents and slips.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of cracks can you fix?We repair most surface-level cracks in asphalt driveways, parking lots, and ranch roads — typically ¼” to 1” wide. If the cracks are too deep or the foundation is failing, we’ll let you know and point you in the right direction.
What’s the difference between hot rubber and cold patch?Hot rubber is what the pros use — it bonds deep, stays flexible in Texas heat, and lasts. Cold patch is a cheap fix that dries hard and brittle. It breaks down fast and often makes things worse. We don’t touch the stuff.
Do you offer sealcoating or striping? Not yet — but we will soon. For now, we specialize in crack repair using pro-grade, hot rubber filler. That way your surface is sealed tight and ready for any future sealing or striping work.
What areas do you serve? We’re based in Georgetown and serve nearby towns across Central Texas — including Liberty Hill, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and North Austin. Not sure if you're in our zone? Just reach out here.
What happens if I don’t fix the cracks right now?Small cracks let water in. Water weakens the base, shifts the asphalt, and creates deeper damage — which means a full repave instead of a quick repair. Catching it early with hot rubber saves you thousands later.
Can I fix it myself with a DIY kit?You can — but most DIY kits are cold patch or latex sealers that flake off in the Texas heat. They might look okay for a month or two, but they won’t hold up. We use commercial-grade rubber heated to 375°F and applied the right way.
What’s the difference between hot rubber and cold patch?Hot rubber is flexible, watertight, and expands with heat. Cold patch is quick and cheap, but brittle. It dries hard, doesn’t bond deep, and breaks down fast. That’s why we don’t touch the stuff.
Do cracks mean I need to replace my whole driveway? Not necessarily. Catching cracks early can add years of life to your surface. We’ll assess the damage, explain your options, and only recommend replacement if it’s absolutely necessary.
